Onward & Upwards with Pacific Dunes Newest Course Ranking
The results are in and the staff at Pacific Dunes Golf Club are thrilled with the jump in the course rankings judged and issued by a panel of experts by Australian Golf Digest in their current March edition of the magazine.
This edition of the magazine is highly anticipated by many golf clubs around Australia as they are ranked in the potential top 100 out of some 1800 courses currently located in Australia, so as you can tell it’s a big honour to make the cut.
Pacific Dunes has landed at #53 in Australia which is an improvement from the 2016 ranking, this was despite a handful of new debut in the top 50.
The feedback provided: “Panel feedback on the Port Stephens course is that it’s a tough yet fair layout that’s typically in excellent shape. The fact Pacific Dunes continues to rise, ranking after ranking, indicates there was no “honeymoon period” when it opened and how it has substance to back up its style. None of its scores across the seven criteria reveals any obvious weakness”
Watch this space as Pacific Dunes continues to rise in ranking over the coming years. Who said getting old is a bad thing.
