The Golf Villa café at Pacific Dunes Golf Club, Medowie, is now open for dinner on the first and third Saturday night of the month.

The launch of the new dinner opening hour coincides with the club’s new spring menu, which uses a range of fresh, local produce.  The menu has entrees such as Crumbed camembert with cranberry dipping sauce, and Thai – style Calamari served on a bed of hokkien noodles and vegetables.

For mains, choices include grain – fed scotch fillet topped with prawns and hollandaise sauce; and salmon fillet with a lemon dill sauce, capers and vegetable fritters.  There is also a new dessert menu with traditional sticky date pudding with warm caramel sauce, and a blueberry and almond tart with whipped cream.
