This is the privacy policy ("Privacy Policy") of Port Stephens Golf & Country Club Pty Limited (ACN 079 394 504). This Privacy Policy sets out how we will deal with your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Collection of your personal information We generally collect that personal information which we believe is necessary to: (a) provide you with information about the Pacific Dunes golf and residential community; (b) inform you about Pacific Dunes products and services; (c) respond to a request for information or feedback given by you. Examples of personal information that may be collected by us or our agent include your name, address, email address, phone and fax numbers. If you choose not to provide Port Stephens Golf & Country Club with your personal information, we may be unable to provide you with information relating to Pacific Dunes or Pacific Dunes products and services. Personal information may also be collected by cookies when you use our website (the "Site"). Cookies are pieces of data stored by your web browser on your hard drive which contain information relating to your use of the Site. When you access the Site, cookies may record details relating to your use of the Site, including what pages you view from the Site. We do not use cookies to track your personal information and use them for internal management purposes only.
Management and use of your personal information We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that the information which we collect, use or disclose is accurately recorded and is stored in a secure environment which is accessed only by authorised persons. If it is practicable to do so, we will destroy or permanently de-identify your personal information when this is no longer required.
Disclosure of your personal information We may disclose your personal information to our agent Citta Property Group and our external sales provider Mirander Pty Ltd, carrying on business under the name Port Stephens Projects, (or any future agent or external sales provider) for the purpose of using your personal information to market, promote and sell Pacific Dunes products and services to you or to inform you of any special offers, discounts or other information we consider may be of interest to you at any time and you consent to disclosure and use of your personal information in this manner. However, if you do not wish to receive future marketing, promotional or sales material from us you may contact Citta Property Group and Port Stephens Projects at any time by sending an email to the following email address info@pacificdunes.com.au requesting that no further material be sent to you. Citta Property Group and Port Stephens Projects will as soon as reasonably practicable after receiving your request, remove your contact details from their respective databases. We will take all reasonable steps to ensure that any personal information which we disclose to a third party is protected by that party in accordance with the Privacy Act.
Security of your personal information You acknowledge that no data transmission over the Internet is totally secure. Accordingly, we do not warrant the security of any information which you transmit to us. Any information which you transmit to us is transmitted at your own risk. However, once we receive your transmission, we will take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information from misuse, loss or unauthorised access including password protected computer files.
