Pacific Dunes Port Stephens is a $180 million project that brings together International investment bank Babcock & Brown, the Citta Property Group, local property developer Robert Paul and Patrick Rafter. Robert Paul has a successful track record in the Port Stephens region and played a major role in identifying the site as ideal for a golf-based community in the mid-1990s and securing the necessary authority and environmental approvals. Babcock & Brown is an independent international investment banking firm specialising in structured property transactions, property investment and project financing and development. The firm was established in 1977 and is now recognised as a world leader in its field, with Babcock & Brown’s involvement playing a leading role in the high standard to which Pacific Dunes has been developed. |
Citta Property Group was appointed by the Pacific Dunes Port Stephens Joint Venture to provide project and development management services and is also partner in the project. With expertise gained on some of Australia's most successful and innovative developments the Citta Management Team bring the experience and vision necessary to create this international standard golf & residential community, Pacific Dunes Port Stephens. The investment of tennis legend Pat Rafter in Pacific Dunes Port Stephens is a fitting move for the dual US Open Champion and Wimbledon finalist, whose love of golf comes second only to tennis. Mr Rafter said Pacific Dunes was a premium development, offering the "ultimate" lifestyle for golfers of all standards. "Everything about the project is of the highest standard," he said. "My decision to become involved with Pacific Dunes was due to the reputation of the developers, specifically in their ability to produce quality developments which create a strong sense of community and at the same time maintain the site's environmental integrity. |
