Stamp duty

For homes already under construction, stamp duty has been reduced by 25%.
The NSW Government's Home Builders Bonus provides full exemption on stamp duty for new homes where the value does not exceed $600,000 and building has not commenced. It also applies to vacant land up to $400,000.

The NSW Home Builders Bonus is available to everyone, including investors, who purchase a new house or apartment.

First Home Owner Grant

If you're a first homebuyer, you could save up to $29,490 on the cost of building a new home by using a combination of the Home Builders Bonus and other NSW Government Schemes such as First Home Plus or the First Home Owners Grant Scheme.
